Kia changes management faces
Brisbane News.Net Tuesday 7th September, 2010
The management team at the Kia automobile headquarters in South Korea has undergone a change following recalls of popular makes of cars.
The management shakeup came on the heels of a global recall of more than 100,000 vehicles.
Kia had to recall more than 35,000 cars in the United States and more than 104,000 vehicles globally for fire-prone electrical wiring systems.
A new vice chairman has been named to replace Chung Sung-eun, who has resigned.
He is Kia’s former president, Lee Hyoung-keun, who was asked to come in after Chung resigned after announcements on the recalls.
